Gerald Robinson has provided services as a HIM Services Consultant including HIM medical record compliance and education, coding and auditing support, and other solutions such as webinars, ICD-10 education and implementation as well as billing/reimbursement services. He has experience as a HIM Director overseeing coders and auditors providing services for hospitals, physicians, and government entities.
He has over 15 years of healthcare industry experience and a Bachelors of Business Administration and Healthcare Management. He has been responsible for fraud and abuse reviews and also has worked with colleges as an adjunct instructor and director of a medical coding and healthcare reimbursement degree program.
Gerald is an AAPC certified instructor, a curriculum reviewer and developer preparing coding education for the national coding certifying body.
He has a passion for quality, education/training, and reimbursement and is considered a person that can assist with both facility and physician clinic needs.
