This webinar with share how the electronic health record and other technologies have impacted release of information functions and processes. We will discuss how the HIM professional can use the technology to improve processes and turnaround times along with a variety of options of how to leverage technology whether you outsource or insource all or part of the functions. The presentation will include best practices and options for HIM professionals to consider when optimizing the ROI processes. We will also touch on the guidance recently released by the OCR related to release of information fees. There will be time at the end for participants to share their questions and comments.
