Call for Nominations: CIHIMA President-Elect and Secretary Positions

Dear CIHIMA Members,

I hope this message finds you well. As we move forward with the exciting developments within the Central Illinois Health Information Management Association (CIHIMA), we are reaching out to remind you of the ongoing opportunity to actively participate in shaping the future of our association.

Currently, we are in the process of selecting candidates for two crucial positions within our leadership team: President-Elect and Secretary. While we are fortunate to have received one nomination for the President-Elect position, we have yet to receive any nominations for the Secretary position.

Your involvement is vital to the continued success and growth of CIHIMA. We are pleased to inform you that our members have voted to incorporate CIHIMA as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. This decision reflects our commitment to enhancing our impact in the healthcare community and advancing the profession of health information management.

However, in order to realize our goals and objectives, we need dedicated volunteers to step forward and contribute their time, expertise, and leadership skills. Serving on the CIHIMA board provides a unique opportunity to shape the direction of our association, collaborate with industry professionals, and make a meaningful impact on our members’ professional development.

If you are passionate about advancing the field of health information management and are interested in taking on a leadership role, we encourage you to consider running for either the President-Elect or Secretary position. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in guiding CIHIMA’s strategic initiatives and ensuring the continued success of our association.

To nominate yourself or a fellow member for either position, please complete and submit the nomination form.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to CIHIMA. Together, we can drive positive change and innovation in health information management.

Best regards,
