CAHIMA Call to Speakers for 2020-2021 Membership Year
The CAHIMA Education Committee holds 3-4 meetings every membership year, and we are looking for speakers to share their expertise with our membership.
Currently, we are planning and hope to offer remote education opportunities that will consist of 3-4 speakers. Each speaker/topic will be accessible individually and members will have a 60-day availability for access that will start in December and move through the Spring. If COVID-19 allows, we would like to start in-person meetings in April or May 2021. If it is not possible to move to in-person meetings, we will continue to offer remote education opportunities.
We are especially looking for speakers for the following topics, however any topic that you feel may be of interest to our membership is welcome for consideration.
- 2020 AHIMA Health Information and Informatics Management (HIIM) Domains
- Data Structure, Content and Information Governance
- Information Protection: Access, Disclosure, Archival. Privacy and Security
- Informatics, Analytics and Data Use
- Revenue Cycle Management
- Organization Management and Leadership
- Clinical Foundations
- Evolving Topics
