Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) This agency promotes health through the prevention and control of disease and injuries in the state of Illinois. The agency has multiple programs. Illinois Health Care Cost Containment Council (IHCCCC) Up until June 28, 2002 this agency was responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting health care costs and utilization data from Illinois hospitals.
