Communities of Practice (CoP)
What are CoPs?
Communities of Practice (CoP) is an online member interaction tool to communicate, to ask questions and to share expertise with peers.

Illinois CoP
ILHIMA has a CoP for Illinois members which allows you to interact with other ILHIMA members. This is a tool that provides the ability to disseminate, exchange, and share information. Click here to visit the ILHIMA CoP.

How To Use the CoPs
Visit the AHIMA's CoP Homepage,
Enter your AHIMA member ID# and password in the log-in box to the left.

Prior to participating in a CoP, you need to join it: Select the Join/Visit icon (the passport icon) on the top toolbar. Select a letter of the alphabet or “All” for a listing and description of all the CoPs. Or, use the search function to find ones that match your needs.

This is a great member benefit and tool that you will want to take advantage of.
